In this episode, we speak with Linda Siniard about her work with Death Cafe as well as her studies in nd experience with talking about death. Linda is facilitator of the fourth Death Café in the United States from 2012 - 2014. She has studied thanatology (dying, death, and bereavement) since 2010 and has a master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology and another in Transformative Studies. Linda stays current with new developments as a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling. She finds purpose and meaning in promoting individual and community conversations on subjects that often defy consistency, definition, reason, and accessibility – dying, death, grief, and renewal.
During our conversation, she mentions several websites including the following:
Death Café - https://deathcafe.com
Association of Death Education and Counseling - https://www.adec.org/
